Combating the grey economy
As a major developer, we are responsible for doing our part in combating the grey economy in the construction sector. We have drawn up our own operating guidelines for that purpose.
We combat the grey economy in the construction sector
We apply our guidelines for combating the grey economy in all of our new construction projects and renovation and refurbishment projects. Our guidelines apply to all of our partners related to building development for the sourcing of both goods and services.
We require, for example, that all parties on our worksites join the Reliable Partner service, i.e. comply with the Act on the Contractor’s Obligations and Liability when Work is Contracted Out. Remuneration paid to foreign workers must be in line with Finnish collective agreements. We have also set conditions on chaining work to subcontractors.
