How to give a brokerage firm Suomi.fi e-Authorizations
Representative of a brokerage firm – do as follows
If you want to handle your client entrepreneur's YEL affairs over the phone in customer service, you need a Suomi.fi e-Authorization from the entrepreneur. Suomi.fi e-Authorizations are electronic powers of attorney that allow you to act on behalf of someone else.
How to get your brokerage firm’s mandate themes in order
If Suomi.fi e-Authorizations are not yet widely used in your brokerage firm, start by creating a working model for granting mandates. A good way is to appoint a broker or other responsible person in your brokerage firm as the administrator for Suomi.fi e-Authorizations.
When you grant this person a representative’s right to grant mandates, they can manage the process of granting mandates in your brokerage firm. Having been granted a representative's right to grant mandates, the administrator can ask clients to grant mandates for transactions and grant brokers mandates to represent their clients.
Suomi.fi e-Authorizations can be requested and granted by, for example:
- a CEO
- someone authorised to represent the company alone
- someone to whom the company has granted a representative’s right to grant mandates in Suomi.fi e-Authorizations
- The members of the Board of Directors entered in the Trade Register together.
